Role: IT Service Delivery Lead (Associate Director)

Dates: April 2021 - December 2022

This role was my first dip into an Engineering-oriented management role, covering technical and project management.

I owned the Transformation stream of a multi-year re-engineering project in the Exchange Traded Derivatives space.

We implemented a message transformation capability and providing tooling to empower IT and business users across the bank to manage various transformations, across a variety of protocols - primarily transforming FIX and SWIFT protocols, as well as proprietary XML and JSON-based messaging.

I was an SME on a number of working groups looking at enhancing technology across the organisation and removing impediments to high-performance delivery.
